Building Kingdom businesses since 2021
AVODA Blue is the faith-driven business accelerator of the AVODA Institute of Entrepreneurship, running in Kampala, Dar es Salaam and Addis Ababa since 2021. It exists for one kind of founder: the Christian entrepreneur who refuses to choose between a business that makes money and a business that means something.
The programme is eleven modules over four months, taught in person and online, and it is deliberately unglamorous. Founders work through business strategy and the theology of business, leadership and followership, MVP pilots that end in real sales, breakthrough selling, operations, entrepreneurial finance and bookkeeping, AI tools, and investment readiness. Classes begin at orientation on Saturday 8 August 2026 and end at graduation on 19 December 2026. The first week is free: sit in, then decide.
It runs in four tiers so that price is never the reason a founder stays out. Essentials is the entry point. Online is for founders outside our three cities. The flagship in-person programme adds coaching, workbooks, co-working at The Agora, an AVICS credit score and business referrals. Deep Blue is for growth-stage businesses already past US$300,000 in revenue, and is delivered by AVODA Strategic Consulting rather than the classroom.
What comes out the other side is measurable. AVODA has trained more than 543 entrepreneurs from over 1,247 applicants across 7 cohorts, and every graduate leaves with an AVICS score: an independent, evidence-backed read on how investable their business actually is. Not a certificate of attendance. A number a lender or an investor can act on.

What is AVODA Blue?
AVODA Blue is the faith-driven business accelerator of the AVODA Institute of Entrepreneurship. It is a covenant community of Christian founders: four months of classes together, then twelve months of building alongside coaches and peers, across an 11-module curriculum.
How much does it cost?
Three tiers: Essentials at UGX 330,000 in total, Online at UGX 1,650,000, and the flagship programme at UGX 2,625,000. All are payable in instalments, and scholarships are available. Deep Blue, our growth partnership for established businesses, uses revenue-aligned terms rather than a published fee.
Is the first week really free?
Yes. Apply, join us for the first week of classes, and then decide whether to continue.
When does the next cohort start?
Applications close 1 August 2026 and every applicant receives a decision by 5 August. Orientation is Saturday 8 August 2026 at 1:00 PM, and graduation is 19 December 2026.
What is AVICS?
AVICS is the AVODA Interest and Credit Score: our own creditworthiness score for founders, built on punctuality, financial accountability and cognitive assessments. It is also the platform that hosts your classes, assessments, payments and attendance. Flagship students graduate with an AVICS score they can show to investors.
Do I need an existing business to join?
No. Our cohorts include people with an idea but no company yet, professionals employed elsewhere who sense a call to build, and founders whose business already runs but needs systems.
