AVODA Deep Blue is a revenue-share growth partnership from the AVODA Institute of Entrepreneurship and AVODA Strategic Consulting. It provides established East African businesses with embedded consulting, growth strategy, operations and investment readiness, with compensation aligned to results rather than fixed fees.

Global consulting firms price you out. So growth-stage businesses stall, and stalled businesses cannot fund the Kingdom work they were built to carry.

Investment consulting

Are you a growth-stage business with more than US$300,000 in annual sales, looking for investment of US$1 million or above? That is precisely who this is for. World-class investment consulting at a price a growing African business can actually afford.

Scaling and business model

The biggest question an investor asks is “how fast will this business grow?” We help you quantify exactly how much growth potential you have, and communicate it credibly. We also examine your business model for unrealised opportunities to scale, lower costs and lift revenue.

Valuation and financial forecasting

The second question is “what is this business worth now, and what will it be worth in five years?” We value your business two ways: relative valuation, comparing you against our repository of classified data from more than 100 businesses, and intrinsic valuation, extrapolating from your own cashflow, unit economics and projections over three to five years.

Investor referral

AVODA holds a global network of investors: loan and fixed-income investors, angels, venture capital funds, and donor-advised funds. We help you work out which kind of investor you should be targeting given your stage, sector, geography and growth forecast, then make the introduction, including to investors in Asia and the United States.

AVODA Deep Blue is a revenue-share growth partnership for established East African businesses, combining embedded consulting, growth strategy and investment readiness from the AVODA Institute and AVODA Strategic Consulting.

How much does Deep Blue cost?

Deep Blue has no published price. Engagements use revenue-aligned structures rather than fixed fees, and commercial terms are set together during the discovery and diagnostic phase.

Who qualifies for Deep Blue?

Growth-stage businesses, typically with more than US$300,000 in annual sales, a working team, and often seeking investment of US$1 million or above. Many Deep Blue businesses are AVODA Blue alumni, but alumni status is not required. If you are earlier than that, the flagship AVODA Blue programme is the better road, and we will say so.

What services does Deep Blue include?

Investment consulting, scaling and business-model work, valuation and financial forecasting (both relative and intrinsic), and investor referral into AVODA’s global network of angels, venture funds, loan and fixed-income investors and donor-advised funds, including in Asia and the United States.

How is this different from hiring a consulting firm?

Traditional firms bill fixed fees regardless of outcomes. Deep Blue embeds with your team and is paid from results, with the added depth of AVODA’s accelerator methodology and faith-aligned governance.
